2013 Week 3

Exam...

I should be studying for my exam.
This is a bad idea.

Let's roll.

------------------------------------------------------------

36 Dollar Man (3-0)
def
Cruz to Victor (1-2)

Wow this ended up being a decent matchup.
After the confusing decision to play QB roulette, CtV picked Alex Smith after his impressive start to the season abandoning Andy Dalton. 14.1 Points had him supposedly cringing at a Buffalo Wild Wings location.
If it makes him feel any better, no kang'd decision cost him this matchup.
If anything, his kicker got negative points... Which is a first time for me to see.
Antonio Brown had a monster game and AD had a unusual 15.5.
That's ridiculous to say... "unusual 15.5", but he's that good.

On the other side, Mr. Undefeated had his first real test and he passed with points to spare on the bench. Romo had an unusual 20+ day and DeMarco Murray had a huge day and I read somewhere that he always owns the Rams. He ran for 200+ and 3 scores his rookie year against them? Well... it looks like CJ2K (ridiculous nickname for a 1 hit wonder) is garbage and once Bush returns, he'll take his spot. The WRs are hard to figure out but Henry remains the lone undefeated team.

Words of encouragement: CtV is 3rd in PF. You traded for RG3... which... nevermind... I'm supposed to encourage right?

Words of Humility: 3-0 is great. 258.5 PA (1st) is greater. Thobias has a good team. Choose your WRs wisely.

------------------------------------------------------------

Calvin's Johnson (2-1)
def
...
slaughters...
Team Excrement (2-1)

Mr. APOW... meet the turd of the week.
Everything went wrong for formerly undefeated Team Excrement. Gronk should be back this week? So hopefully Tommy Terrific gets his chance to succeed. 5.2 and 1 from Arian and Spiller is awful. Insult to injury is a sore quad for Spiller and F-Jax rolling. Nicks was terrible with 0 points and Excrement's kicker outscored all but two players.
Yikes.

Calvin's Johnson should be 3-0 and is destroying everyone's hopes with Peyton. Even with Ball not working out for him, he put in Bell and he went nuts with 19.2 points. As a Wayne Alum... meh. CJJr will always be great and although he already had this matchup in hand he scored 69.9 points on monday. 17 of which came from his kicker.
So if 4 players outscoring Excrement's entire team... sigh... whatever.

Words of encouragement: Excrement gets the commish next week. He's in the finals for the baseball league... ugh I just relived my bad experience... what was I saying again?

Words of Humility: I hate you.

------------------------------------------------------------

Atlanta Lions (2-1)
def
Quailman's Crew (1-2)

I told you.
Told you Cam will break out. Now the question is, can he stay up there. Carolina destroyed New York and Cam did a lot of the work. Only problem was the Russell's Seahawks also slaughtered their opponents. Biggest problem for Quailman was 8.8 points from all 3 wideouts and 0.6 from his awful flex player. So many points on the bench. Any of the 4 players who aren't absolutely terrible would have given him the win this week. Quadruple Kang.

Words of Encouragement: Quailman gets a 1-2 team next week! Choose wisely though and hope for JCharles and AD to have weak performances.

Words of Humility: 4 point win margin is pretty weak... Jackson is probably not gonna be back next week... ah who am I kidding, you get SCOOP YOU next week.

------------------------------------------------------------

Joon's Football Squad (2-1)
def
Ansahppable Cabrera (1-2)

Straight up victory. Nothing could have helped Ansah.
RBs... nonexistent. However after a self-proclaimed "Mega Trade" you'd think he would have won. The trade however did not address his weak RB corp and actually made it weaker. 8.2 points. BMarsh had a 5.2 day even though his team scored 40 points and Larry only got 6.4 against a historically bad pass D of New Orleans.

Joon on the other hand had an off day from Rodgers and Skittles but two unlikely heroes in Holmes and Gordon dropped 44.2 Well Gordon is all talent but he needs consistency from his QB and let's face it... hard to bank on Hoyer.
He won even with 1 player less (Daryl got hurt and got 0)

Words of Encouragement: Well... your WRs ARE technically "stacked" but your RBs need a lot of help. Lacy is unproven but hey! You get Jeff next week! cha-ching!

Words of Humility: Santonio Holmes plays for the Jets. I'm going to guess that Hoyer actually sucks. Oh and... YOU GET KEVIN NEXT WEEK.

------------------------------------------------------------

Return of the Sea Bass (2-1)
def
i need a win (0-3)

The Gentleman Week (two former champs) had one gentleman and one poor, poor begger begging for a win.
Surprisingly I was wrong in my prediction as it ended up being a 100 point flip (said lose by 60). Ahem.
Shady is king. Numero Uno. RoSB also dodged some petty sabotage attempts by Calvin's Johnson's manager by picking Pierce over Starks... but let's face it... He still won without Pierce... and Shady... combined.

Hilarious irony. I saw Jeff. "I'm glad I didn't play Vick". Colin dropped 4. So after overthinking last week with Colin over Vick, he somehow got unlucky with this week. Also... No running backs. Ray Rice and Le'Veon need to be healthy, at least Le'Veon for sure will. We'll see how good he can be.

Words of Encouragement: Hopefully Jeff will pick the hot QB of the week next week. Hard to encourage someone that's 2nd to last in PF.

Words of Humilty: You're incredibly handsome.

------------------------------------------------------------

Thobias Funke (2-1)
def
SCOOP YOU (0-3)

Ew.
Ready?
Harry Douglas was flexed, got NEGATIVE 1.1. Ahmad Bradshaw was left on the bench, got 17.1. Switch the two and SCOOP finishes with 93.0. Thobias scored 92.9.
Amazing.
Big, Fat, Ugly Kang. HA, Irony.

You know what though. Credit to Thobias for being cute with Andre Ellington. I mentioned his RBs were thin and he decided to be creative with it. Bills D was an interesting choice but this was definitely a team that had its QB carry them to the promised land.

SCOOP will continue to benefit from SJax's injury and although we all know exactly why Ahmad was benched, probably should have done a bit more research as no player will ever give a newly acquired player full control without learning the playbook. Two weeks in though is a different story, so it'd be wise to monitor what Trent's role will be the upcoming week. He did still get a TD so that's good to see.

Words of Encouragement: Gronk should be back...???

Words of Humility: 2nd in PA. Watch your back. Especially against the #1 in PA.

============================================================

Useless Rankings:

1. Calvin's Johnson (up 3, Peyton is king)
2. 36 Dollar Man (no change, principle)
3. Return of Sea Bass (up 2, consistent point scorer)
4. Atlanta Lions (up 2, a win is a win)
5. Joon's Football Squad (up 3, same as above)
6. Thobias Funke (up 1, Would have lost to 8 other teams)
7. Team Excrement (down 6, yikes)
8. Cruz to Victor (down 5, Maybe RG3 can come alive?)
9. Ansahppable Cabrera (no change, 0 kangs <100 pts)
10. Quailman's Crew (stay put)
11. Aaron Hernasty (stay put)
12. SCOOP YOU (stay put)

============================================================

Wow that was a mistake. Too much time was spent.
Damn it.

I had a great idea for a league note but that'll have to come next week.

Next time I have an early week exam, I'll ask someone to step in for me.

2013 Week 2

Eh.

I have no desire to write this.
...
After that amazing win last week in fantasy baseball...
Steven Strasburg decided to be a douche and got scratched from his start.
Then Ricky Nolasco decides to be a moron and got me like -11 points or something.
Lead blown but still should have been an easy win with 2 starters the last day.
I had to replace Stras so I put in Chacin against a terrible Phillies team and he got me -1 points.
Offense also decided to be aholes and got me like 6 points.

All I know is I HATE Hunter Pence even more than ever.
If you don't already hate Hunter Pence you are not a Tigers fan and you should kill yourself.
You should remember him from our world series lost last year.

"I don't care about this"
Punch yourself in the groin.

So then I look over at football.
At least I'll be 2-0...
Nope.
Nope.
NOPE.
SHOULD HAVE NEVER TRADED FOR A BUC.
THEY ARE THE WORST.
THE WORST COACH IN THE HISTORY OF FOOTBALL (RAHEEM) HAS COMPETITION FOR THAT TITLE FROM HIS REPLACEMENT.

I got GTAV so this will be quick.
Plus, again, I have no heart for this.

------------------------------------------------------------

So most of you winners lost.
Sad Panda

South Park

OH NO WAIT, SO DID ALL THE OTHER WINNERS!!! Minus Excrement and 36er!

36 Dollar Man is 1st in points against, however he isn't doing to bad in PF. So if not 2-0, he should deserve 1-1.
Similar can be said for Team Excrement.

That's a stupid argument anyways.
Gronk and RoSB are 1 point away each other in lead for PF but sit at 1-1.

Too early.

Leggo.

------------------------------------------------------------

Team Excrement (2-0)
def
Ahsahppable Cabrera (1-1)

Boring.
What a boring matchup... full of injury, weather, and bad decisions.

The only 2 (Amendola injured) relevant Patriots were in this matchup. Ridley ran 16 times for 40 yards. Yawn.
Brady hit so many of his receivers' hands only to see them volleyball it to the opposition.

With that said, Ansah left a whopping 22.7 points in knowshon moreno on the bench but really can't be blamed. I would have thought to replace Ridley with him after the first week but he was up against the crappy Jets so it's a excusable "50-50" decision. Doesn't matter anyways as he decided to ship Moreno.

For Excrement, there weren't many eye-popping performances besides DeSean who has now erupted as the #1 Fantasy receiver. I'm telling you, I'm in love with this Chip Kelly offense (LeSean McCoy is the #1RB).

What can we learn?

WTF? RG3 was not bad, but the guy is not running anymore. Maybe as he gets healthier he'll be okay.
Lacy got injured with a concussion... how long will he be out? Who knows. Ridley was supposed to lose his starting job but lucked out with an injury to his teammate. But that doesn't do much when you throw up 4 points against the Jets.
AJ Green? He's fine, Ike Taylor is legit. THAT is the difference between him (#2 IMO) and Calvin. No one shuts Calvin down but himself or Stafford. So... maybe Danny should watch out against Haden cause that man is legit.

On the other side. Sigh Brady Brady Brady. Hurts my soul to see him so frustrated and angry at his crappy WRs. :( Gronk is 50/50 to be back so hang in there handsome.
Arian will be fine. More than servicable and CJ will get in a groove. If DeSean keeps this up, this team will be fine.

------------------------------------------------------------

36 Dollar Man (2-0)
def
SCOOP YOU (0-2)

Ew.
78.3 - 85.2??
Both of these teams lose to all but the other 0-2 team.

Where to even start... 2 RB combining for 16 points?
... AGAIN. A SECOND TE THAT DOES 1.6?!
I don't even wanna touch this.
SO MANY SINGLE DIGIT TOTALS.
FOURTEEN.
It pained me to count it.
ZERO 20+ performances.

UGH

What can we learn?

This is gross?
KELLEN EFFING WINSLOW?
WHY?
JAMES JONES is a WR who has the luxury of Aaron Rodgers throwing to him against a TERRIBLE Washington D. If anything on paper that's more appealing than KELLEN WINSLOW if not Doug Baldwin against a good SF defense!
Still... even after kanging Jones, that adjusted total is not respectable.
So much money spent on Richardson and he is predictably (for me) the 31st RB in the league.
Something needs to happen and quick before things get out of hand.

On the other side... A little more surprising. Jordy... see above about James Jones, good performance. Romo is such a idiot sometimes and this team was a victim. DeMarco was a trade acquisition but with an underwhelming performance from the Cowboys as a whole... he didn't do anything. He has a THIRD cowboy in Miles and... ugh. UGH to everything! Look at your bench though... that's encouraging. Just another team who needs to figure out which player will emerge as must-starts.
However... I doubt you'll see the lowest scoring team as your opposition every week.

------------------------------------------------------------

Joon's Football Squad (1-1)
def
Aaron Hernasty (0-2)

It's the name.
You can't channel a murderer and think karma isn't gonna get you.
But then again it isn't luck. Dead last by a lot in PF.
Two double digit performances is the only thing that kept this team from ridiculous status.

Kaep over Vick is baffling. I really am confused on how Vick vs SD doesn't get the start over Kaep @ SEATTLE. He still loses by 3 with that move but... it's the mere fact that a young QB was picked vs THE BEST DEFENSE in the league over a recharged, proven playmaker whom KAEP models himself after against a poor D.

What can we learn?

Arodg #2 QB. Marshawn #3RB (ahem #1 is Shady).
Again... nothing NEW to learn. Moore, Holmes... 6.6 points... expected.
Hillman 0.3? Expected.
Something needs to be done.
Also... double TE. How much longer must I go protesting this?
Sure Quizz only gets 1.2+ but yeah. Don't care.
I think it's stupid.

On the other side...
Vick starting gets Hernasty 107.
That beats enough people to be respectable.
I think the record is flukey.
Julio is Ryan's go-to, SJax seems to be out another week and Roddy isn't 100%.
RAY RICE however... supposedly it's not a big deal (I hope it is... PIERCE!) but if he does go down... Le'Veon can't be back soon enough. (Although my gut says he sucks. Biased. so what)

Tale of the tape for Hernasty is him hurting himself with starting lineup blunders. Last week was excusable. This week... man I don't know... I still don't understand starting a QB vs Seattle when you have Mr.Vick.

------------------------------------------------------------

Calvin's Johnson (1-1)
def
Return of the Sea Bass (1-1)

UGH.
EFF YOU MIKE WILLIAMS.
EFF YOU FRANK GORE.
EFF YOU JARED COOK.
WHAT HAPPENED?

It was going to be a hard win to begin with... Then the Manning Bowl happened and Peyton didn't really need to do anything but cruise. Montee Ball is terrible and needs to be replaced. But I felt so weird rooting/hating Calvin Johnson and he stepped up to cover the RBs and other WRs. Add in a late Julius Thomas TD from Peyton and that was the nail in the coffin. We were messaging during the Denver game and I told him "GG" as Kevin was confused on why I threw up the white flag before Gore played at night. Well...
He's Frank Gore, I'm not very high on him and he was up against Seattle.
....
....
....
He got me 3 points.

What can we learn?

SHADDDDYYYYYYY
is the man.
16.7 with 0 TDs. Kinda... disappointing with the TD total, could have used 12 points from two TDs which is reasonable given his total yardage.

Welker looked weird as he dropped a bunch and MIKE WILLIAMS IS AN ASSHOLE. Jared Cook, where did you go? What happened? Sam Bradford... come into my office and let's have a talk.

On the other side, if anyone panicked after Calvin's first game... you're an idiot. Calvin is the man. Peyton is also the man. You know who isn't the man? Montee Ball.
Get yourself a RB. Down games from Wayne and Vincent but they're not Calvin and even Calvin has bad games (week 1).

Montee Ball needs to be replaced unless he takes over the majority ball carrying duties.

------------------------------------------------------------

Quailman's Crew (1-1)
def
Thobias Funke (1-1)

Brees' fault.
Bree's and Peyton Manning's fault.
12.9? Drew Brees? Gross dude.
Maybe it was the weather delay? Nope. Just stupid.

Vernon got hurt. Eh it was in the fourth quarter but being on the field when the team is down means more opps for scoring. I don't hate on Davis. Peyton decided to throw to Welker (yay!) and JThomas instead for TDs. I think he did throw to DThomas in the endzone but he couldn't pull it in if I remember correctly.

MJD injured? So shocked.
Russell Wilson getting 11 points in a win is surprising though. They are a run-first team but 11 is not good. Jimmy Graham had a monster TD run and LAMAR MILLER whom I mentioned before had a nice game. (So did Gio btw... zomg I iz genius).

What can we learn?

Thobias can depend on Gio to get his touches and make something of it.
Bradshaw? merp.
Brees needs to not be a donkey and Cobb is looking good.
Vernon injury is concerning though but he has Gates. SD doesn't look bad at all. Philip Rivers is a top 5 QB right now... what?

Quailman... doesn't need to fret about MJD. Ol' Man Freddie is great. In fact, I'd start him over MJD if it was me but SO MUCH MONEY for MJD... yikes.
Other than that... the QB situation needs to get better and has potential to. No worries I think... for now

------------------------------------------------------------

Atlanta Lionsdef
Gronk if you're Horny (1-1)

WTF Buckeye?
Terrelle Pryor?
You dropped a guy who throws to AJ Green for Terrelle Pryor?
Too lazy to see how Dalton did but I think I can confidently say he did better than Pryor.
However, if Adrian was Adrian this week, he may have won. At least he would have threatened.

On the other side... man... I thought this was Cam's "Don't worry, I got this" week but I guess 16.7 isn't that bad. NYG looks like they SUCK so maybe that'll be the week?
DeAndre... man again... I called to be good and he dropped 17.7. Getting a text from his owner stating just his name and a punctuation mark must mean he's happy with him. He proved to be a gameday performer to his QB. This only means greater things to come. Reminds me of Julio Jones. SJax was an unfortunate injury though. That high powered offense is only greater with him there. However looking at the bench... he has a lot of points on the bench. Looking good.

What can we learn?

Once Cam gets his junk together and the De' brothers keep posting close to 20 points a game... dang. Looks good.
Well done CPU draft.

Gronk...
let's hope week 1 is more accurate in forecasting your year than this week. 93 isn't bad at all but last week was awesome. Stick with a QB... a GOOD one this time. Philip Rivers is available haha. Maybe I'll use my waiver wire priority to pick him up and force you to trade me charles or cruz.
Maybe...

============================================================

Pointless Power Rankings Based off Some Dude's Opinion:

1. Team Excrement (up 6... on principle)
2. 36 Dollar Man (up 5... see above)
3. Gronk if you're Horny (down 2, still is #1 in PF)
4. Calvin's Johnson (stayput, Peyton 7TD won't happen agani)
5. Return of the Sea Bass (down 3, #2 in PF and also SHADY!)
6. Atlanta Lions (up 3, APOW of the week, with point on bench)
7. Thobias Funke (down 4, I have no justification for this lol)
8. Joon's Football Squad (up 3, feels high but middle of pack PF)
9. Ansahppable Cabrera (down 4, bench did nothing beside traded player. Could have easily been 0-2)
10. Quailman's Crew (stayput, 3rd to last in PF)
11. Aaron Hernasty (down 3, on principle)
12. SCOOP YOU (stayput, 0-2)

============================================================

Probably one of the weakest reviews I've ever written and I apologize.
Like I said my mind is shot.

Just to make things interesting...
something I hate doing!
PREDICTIONS!

Calvin's Johnson over Excrement
Manning v Oakland? Maybe I was wrong. EIGHT TOUCHDOWNS?

Gronk over 36
Pending QB decision but Adrian rebounds and Charles owns a bad Philly D and look at those WR matchups.

Ansah over Joon
My risky pick, but I say RG3 goes ham this game cause well... SOL. Same. Ol'. Lions.

Quail over Atlanta
The Sjax thing will hurt....?

Thobias over SCOOP
Demaryius, 3TD. Luck v SF.

and of course.
Tradition.

Aaron Hernasty over Return of the Sea Bass

2013 Week 1

Week 1 2014... er whatever, I don't care

I can't really focus right now.
I just had the greatest moment in fantasy sports history.
Ever.
Not just in my life, but all your lives combined.
Long story short.
Playoff hunt. Must win.
Strasburg acts a fool, opponent drops two BOMBs with his final two starting pitchers. 27 point lead turns into a 33 point deficit with one batter (Hanley) and two closers (H. Street and A. Chapman). For those unfamiliar with baseball and essentially retards in my mind, that's a death sentence. Having one save with two closers... maybe a 50% chance at best? having 2? Not crazy rare but hard.
Street gets me 11 points.
Hanley RBI doubles AGAINST Aroldis' team.
Hanley Homers. OMG now I need a 3 strikeout save... still unlikely but Aroldis is the world record holder for fastest fastball (105 mph) and 3K'd the Dodgers on friday on TEN pitches (!!!). Roldy instead comes in for the 9th in a tied game. K...K... groundout. Then... bottom of the ninth... groundout... single... WALK OFF DOUBLE. Roldis with the win. Most unlikely comeback ever. Playoff implications, epic comeback, comes down to the LAST play of the LAST game of the LAST day of the week.
Ecstacy.

So what's this football nonsense? I don't care.
But, people like Danny Shin will put on their sexiest shade of lipstick, push boobs together and whine in a pitch 3 octaves too high about why I'm not posting a manager note.

Fine.
------------------------------------------------------------

First off a couple of notes.

Don't y'all feel stupid for wasting such big money in the auction for terrible performances... specifically on the RB position.

ridley 2.6 - Ansahcab $47 (0.06 points per dollar)
spiller 3.5 - Excrement $67 (0.05 ppd)
lynch 5.2 - Joon $63 (0.08 ppd)
richardson 7.7 - SCOOP $57 (0.14 ppd)
wilson -2.1 - Aaron Hernasty $29 (LOL)
mjd 4.5 - Quailman $35 (0.13 ppd)

Congrats!
Also if you had any Steelers...
HAHAHAHA.

Let's look at the reverse per position.
Only taking into account players who were started.

QB- Andrew Luck 24.9 - SCOOP $11 (2.26 ppd)
QB Non-started mention- Colin Kaep 30.7 - Aaron Hernasty $14 (2.19ppd)

RB- Shane Vereen 15.9 - 36er $6 (2.65 ppd)
RB- none other, will explain later
RB Non-started mention - Joique Bell 21.2 - Quailman $1 (21.2ppd!!)

WR- Anquan Boldin 26.8 - Excrement $7 (3.83ppd)
WR Non-started mention - Julian Edelman 19.9 - Joon $1 (19.9ppd)
WR Non-started mention- Brian Hartline 17.4 - Atlana Lions $1 (17.4ppd)
** No one was really a bargain start of note within the top players**

TE- Jared Cook 24.1 (top TE) - Seabass $1 (24.1ppd)
TE STUPIDLY NON-STARTED :P - Julius Thomas 23 - Calvin (INFINITE/UNDEFINED ppd)

K/DEF- no one cares.

So... how many of these are legit?
Only 4 RBs eclipsed the 20 mark. 2 were on the same team (GO LIONS!)
Can Joique keep up his "vulturism"? The fact that you have to label him as a "vulture" immediately forces you to say no. AP? Expected. Shady? Dude, that Chip Kelly offense looks legit. Bush? Let's hope so.

This first week RB output seems to be an exception to the rule and not the rule itself. Don't freak out.

QB. Luck.. I love the kid. I think he'll be great.
Kaepernick I had 0 expectation for... however, if you saw the game, you saw greatness. The kid was amazing. I'm sure it's a good problem to have but it looks like Hernasty has two top QB options.
On the other side of things, Cam and Brady had bad weeks... Cam was up against the best secondary in the NFL and I fully expect him to be better. Brady... as much as it pains me... His offense looks... awful minus Amendola.

WR. Calvin shoulda had 2 TDs, he's fine. Cruz... unexpected but not surprising... AJ Green, hell yes it was expected. Anyone on the Broncos not named Decker... yup.
But will players like Julian Edelman (yes) and Brian Hartline keep it up?

Okay, I burst out into laughter last year when... I think it was Joon, rode Brian Hartline out and talking him up. I laughed then and kind of... was surprised for a couple weeks in a row. I can't say anything about him anymore. The guy is... confusing.

TE. Yes. This position this year... I think is a game changer. The typical names. The typical QB safety blanket names... Witten, Davis, Graham will be good but Cook, J. Thomas, and Myers are either on new teams in a better situation or have Peyton Manning (who LOVES TEs) throwing to them.
------------------------------------------------------------

Short recaps:

Return of the Sea Bass 1-0
def.
Joon's Football Squad 0-1

Everyone not named Rodgers/Amendola/Finley combined for 22.8. Shady McCoy had 24.9 and Jared Cook had 24.1. MERP.
Sidney Rice and Britt combined for 5 points for RSB, but as you may have noticed a trade was approved to send DeMarco and Denarius for two other WRs. The team is gambling on the WR position already.

What to take away:
RSB seems to have a good/great/B+ ish RB corp. Shady looked amazing and Gore and DMC (barring injury) looks to be capable. With Ryan poised to have a great year and potential breakout from Jared Cook (paid his money because this is what he's capable of) the lack of THREE money WRs is not necessary (Welker is gon' roll).

JFS had Rodgers be Rodgers but again... Lynch had a bad day against the best front 7 in the NFL, he'll rebound. HILLMAN? stop. Get a RB. Stafford had a good day, deal him or something. Mike Wallace is already complaining about how he's being used... if that works out for him, great, if not, oh boy. Also, this is already known but the double TE thing? Unless your TEs are a healthy Gronk and Jimmy Graham, I advise against it.

Ansahppable Cabrera 1-0
def
Calvin's Johnson 0-1

BLEH.
BLEH.
BLEH.
GROSS.
Pokemon time.

Kevin is confused???
Kevin sends out Brandon Pettigrew!
Brandon Pettigrew hurts itself in confusion!!

Welcome to the league Kevin.
Kevin kang'd (left on the bench) a ridiculous 45.7 points.
Which, hilariously... is LESS than what his quarterback did.
However, that same quarterback threw to his TE on the bench 5 times for 23 points. Instead Pettigrew got the start and gave our rookie a great -1.4 performance. A point swing of 22.6. Now what do I call the pillar of success for FFB? Running backs. Yeah, he started 3... none of them got into double digits.

Enter the Cabrera.
Unfazed. Composure kept. Veteran presence displayed. "Move aside rookie, and hold my goch while I pee."
"I CHOOSE YOU, AJ GREEN!"
AJ Green flew up in the air!! 28.2.
"GO BRANDON MARSHALL"
SHABLAGOO! 16.4
"GO Jordan Cameron!"
ZORP 16.8
"GO... ZACH SUDFELD!"
Zach Sudfeld used splash... 0 points.
"GO Greg the Leg!"
Greg used High Kick straight into Calvin's Johnson's Johnson.

What to take away:
Calvin's Johnson... kidding aside and rookie woes aside potentially... would have smashed Ansah for a dominating win.
Now having said that... sure, Julius will get the start over Pettigrew. Joique, I guess, would also start given the crap that is his RB corp... Can Peyton keep this up? My guess is yes. Of course not 7TDs every game... but 3? 4? I think that's an obvious possibility.

Ansah. Consider yourself lucky.
Not because your team sucks, but... C'mon. The guy coulda dropped 150+ on you. The RB situation is NOT good. Ridley ALREADY is back in the doghouse for fumbling problems. Daryl Richardson (whom I love) showed flashes, so good. This Sudfeld thing is confusing but Eddie Lacy seems useful. However, he was destroyed on the bench for his fumble. Ridley in the making? Something to keep an eye on. Also...
you have a guy with a girl's name (Christine) on your team. Jinxing yourself? Probably.

Gronk if you're Horny 1-0
def
SCOOP YOU 0-1

Remember how I played that hypothetical game with what Gronk's team had potential to do? I'm pretty much a genius.
Kiss my ring.
I guess this is why "they" say to draft the players you want. AP 29.1, Cruz 29.8, Fitz 20, JCharles 16... 94.9.
That outscores SCOOP and couple other teams this week.
On the other had, SCOOP had Andrew Luck. The rest of the team fell asleep on the bus, woke up, made out with each other, and fell asleep again.

What to take away:
Gronk. If this is a sign of things to come... um. I'm happy for you but stay away from me. I honestly have no idea who Marlon Brown is but if he can consistently get you around 10 points and your other receivers stay hot... it'll be scary.

SCOOP on the other hand... my comment about having 2 TEs and that being weird was clearly noted as he PICKED UP ANOTHER TE. The one who started was the only one who got points... 2.7 points. Again, as I mentioned in the post-draft note, Lawfirm... I have no hopes for. Trent is young and unproven. Roddy is great but got hurt and even if he was fine... a 20-something performance would have done nothing.
James Jones... wow.
Again. Needs work. Korean Plastic surgery style.

36 Dollar Man 1-0
def
Quailman's Crew 0-1

Quailman left a buncha points on the board but it wouldn't have done anything except make his loss respectable.
Anyways, Romo was hilarious, as he threw 49 times for 263 yards 2/1. 36er had a very balanced attack as no one had 20 points or more but he still had a good week. The only sad part of his situation was that CJ2K's great rebirth... will have to come later in the year?? cause it sure wasn't week 1. 25 attempts for 70 yards? BLEGH.
Now... Quailman left a bunch of points on the bench but some ... er... many unfortunate things happened. Dougie Martin previewed some sophomore slump symptoms. Fumble and averaging crap per carry. MJD is dumb and Bowe should take Alex Smith out to dinner and tell him to throw him the damn ball. Six targets for Bowe? That needs to change. Blaine Gabbert is the worst and Shorts got nothing and Lamar Miller looked awful. 10 carries for 3 yards?

What to take away:
36er can't depend on a balanced attack every week. Romo needs to un-Romo himself. CJ2K needs to break out, but just in case, it looks like DeMarco is on the way. But, Bush was on the bench, so it'll probably be okay at RB/Flex. Jordy is frustrating but he has 19+ potential all the time and he has such a deep team that he just needs to figure out the best combination. Scary team.

Quailman also needs to find his perfect combination but as I said in the post-draft, there are not many SURE things on this team. Having said that, his choices week-to-week are going to be difficult. Get it right and you get 100+. 100+ wins you matchups and lets you avoid another mediocre year. No panic button for this team yet. 117 points was his teams perfect number this week.

Thobias Funke 1-0
def
Atlanta Lions 0-1

I guess Thobias is the exception to my personal RB rule.
When your 2 RBs combine for 5.8 points, I'd assume you'd lost. Not so fast my friend. 4 WRs for 69.7 and the TE chips in 21.8. Dang. Add Easy Breesy and you got yourself the win.
Atlanta Lions weren't too bad. Hartline had 17.4 on the bench and a lot of players just didn't show up this week for Steven's team. The ATL NO game was a shootout so newly acquired SJax underperformed compared to MY expectation. 12.2 is a good week but given the prolific air attack that the Falcons have, it should not only open the run game but SJax is a top 3 pass catching RB IMO. Cam got the best D in the NFL and Dez just... I don't even know what to say. Dez is not a 2.2 player. Dez is a 25 point player. He'll be fine. Sproles was a weak flex in my mind but he didn't do too bad with 11. When 5-6 positions underperforms by 50-60 points (what I would have expected) you will always lose.

What to take away:

Thobias has a scary WR corp. His RBs are poop. Now I want to stick to my guns and say this is not an ideal combination. However, every other position is filled with some monsters. I'm on the Demaryius train. Cobb... meh, but he is a top option for Rodgers. Davis is great. Nicks and Colston are ALWAYS injury potentials but if they stay healthy they'll be fine.

Atlanta Lions... my gut says not to panic. Cam gets Buffalo next week, Dez is at KC, maybe roll the dice with Hartline? Especially against Indiana. Very hard to judge this team given that so many players underperformed this week. If this proves to be the norm next week, then it'll be time to panic.

Team Excrement 1-0
def
Aaron Hernasty 0-1

Comeback. Comeback. Comeback.
Cool. Need at least one every week.
Thanks to Arian and Owen Daniels' efforts on the last game of the week propelled Excrement to pass last year's runner-up. Even after a sub-par performance by Brady, Excrement basically had Brady's expected numbers flip flop with Anquan. Anquan is loving SanFran (Chris' current town) as Colin Kaep is enjoying having Boldin on his squad. DeSean looks like he's going to benefit from Chip Kelly's offense and although Spiller did crap, Arian was Arian enough.
Hernasty has a QB controversy on his hands but even more worrisome... a Flex controversy (assuming RMat takes over for Wilson at RB2). Wilson fumbled twice and although he might keep the job, he's a fumbling machine.

What to take away:

Excrement can expect number boosts for Brady and CJ (except for the 2nd matchup against NE). Congrats you now have 2 unexpected WR1 potential guys in DeSean and Anquan and you can fill in the WR3 with whatever you want. DThomas did get around 45% of the carries but more importantly the goalline looks over starting Lamar Miller but Lamar looked awful and maybe DThomas becomes a viable flex option?
Nice looking team... Potentially.

Aaron Hernasty didn't have an awful week. I guess if a loss can be a good loss, it just showed him that Kaepernick is real. Now... he faces Seattle next week so that might not be a good idea but this David Wilson thing needs to be address. Why in the world did you pick up denard though? haha. Perhaps Le'Veon Bell can come back from the injury and be a factor. Decker was incredibly disappointing but given his 7 targets, it was all about his catching the dang ball.
Also, Ray Rice.
------------------------------------------------------------

The "Princess Danny Demands it" Power Rankings:

Which have no purpose and is based off nothing given that it's the first week of the season....

1.Gronk if you're Horny (this really isn't 2012 huh?)
2. Return of the Sea Bass (Shady McCoy for top RB!!)
3. Thobias Funke (Brilliant all-but-RBs)
4. Calvin's Johnson (150+ potential, done all wrong)
5. Ansahppable Cabrera (yeah, CJ is above you, complaining would be slapping lady luck for giving you a gift.)
6. 36 Dollar Man (really interchangable with Ansah)
7. Team Excrement (Don't know what to say)
8. Aaron Hernasty (bummer of a loss)
9. Atlanta Lions (Didn't know where to put, 7-9 interchangable?)
10. Quailman's Crew (ton of points on the bench)
11. Joon's Football Squad ("perfect" lineup only adds 1.8, yikes)
12. SCOOP YOU (4 points on bench... total.)

APOW: Gronk if you're Horny (1)
Turd: Quailman's Crew (1)

Post Draft

Welcome Back to the thunderdome. bitch.

Really Jeremy?
A Season Recap before the beginning of a new season?
Yup.
Only for the Playoff teams though...
Sorry... Angry? well...
...
sorry.

Shut your faces.

What an AMAZING YEAR. A YEAR FOR THE AGES.
A YEAR OF A GREAT CHAMPION.

Of course I say this because I won.

Last year was a year of Commish Victories since Team Excrement manager won the baseball league that he runs as well.

Let's Begin.

League Champion, Legends Champion
Wrath of the Sea Bass

10-4 (2-0 playoffs)
2nd PF
1st PA

That is actually very interesting now I look back on last year. I was the luckiest manager with the least points scored against.
Looking at the schedule, there's only a few things that stand out.
Henry pooped out 69 points followed by Steven's 73 and Danny's 74.1 in three straight weeks. However WoSB dropped 98.4, 152.8, and 115.7 so... probably wins anyways.

At the end of the day, this season was all about the trades for WoSB. Never have I ever felt more like a real GM than the night where I had two gchat windows open with FAH Q on "line 1" and Team Excrement on "line 2". If one deal fell through, then there would have been no deal at all. Had to give away "free money" in Alfred Morris and got back upgrades or equivalents at the QB, WR, and RB positions. After starting 2-2 that let WoSB finish 8-2 the rest of the way.

So...
Team MVP: Jamaal? LeSean? Ridley?... nah. Dez Bryant. Dez had a MONSTER year. Position Ranking was still #3 but he had weekly figures of: 21.5, 20.5, 25.1, 21.8, 34.4
The middle three were back-to-back-back games and the 34.4 was the nail in the Coffin for Jeff in the finals.

Best transaction: Epic double trade:
JHK traded Philip Rivers, SD QB to HAN
JHK traded Denarius Moore, Oak WR to HAN
HAN traded Stevan Ridley, NE RB to JHK
&
LEE traded Andre Johnson, Hou WR to JHK
LEE traded Matt Ryan, Atl QB to JHK
JHK traded Alfred Morris, Wsh RB to LEE
JHK traded A.J. Green, Cin WR to LEE

Give a guy with a plethora of RBs a QB upgrade and a good WR and give a guy with 2 QBs your top guy and a rookie phenom for a physical freak and a top 10 QB.

He owned: BIW. Gave him his first and last loss.

He got schooled by: Go Greene. A 4-7 team came out of no where and beat him and almost prevented him from actually making the playoffs (at the time). WoSB dropped an ironic (explained in next section) 66.6 points and got schooled.

Moment to remember: Beating defending champion Jeffrey Kim by dropping 150+ on the jabroni.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

League Runner-up, Legends Runner-up
Buy-in Waived

9-5 (1-1 playoffs)
7th PF
6th PA

"If it ain't broke don't fix it"
...ahem Aaron Rodgers ahem!
Works in a lot of situations in life... maybe not Fantasy.
But he still got to the finals so... maybe it really is true.
BIW went ham out of the gate. 7-1 start. Dominating the league.

Then... Aaron Rodgers got cold. Week 9 he was fine but he was almost the only one who was fine. Week 10, he had a bye and from there on he didn't return to form til week 15 (the semis).
The 7 wins in 8 games.
Week 9-12 were all losses including one where he only put up... the ironic 66.6 figure against.... GO GREENE. WUT?
basically... put up the number of the beast against walter in a given season and you get to go to the finals... *shiver*

It was a great first half. Just lost steam down the line.

Team MVP: It's still Aaron Rodgers, There's no question about that.

Best Transaction: Picking up Mikel Leshoure. Ironically he had Reggie Bush as well. Their numbers this year... I think will switch. Mikel got more than 20 carries ONCE the whole season and still put up some great numbers.

He Owned: SCOOP YOU. If I told you that someone dropped 154.7 on someone you'd be pretty impressed. If I told you that was a 2 week TOTAL, you'd laugh and say, "that sucks, I bet those losses will come back to haunt him..." NOPE. Wrong. He won both weeks. 73.4 points was countered by SCOOP with an AWFUL 56.6 and then 81.3 was countered with a 71.1. Scoring 100 is pretty average in this league and jeff didn't break 100 from week 8 til the last regular season matchup but somehow went 3-4. WUT?

He got schooled by: ... Go Greene. 66.6 while trying to get back on track. Got smashed.

Moment to Remember: FORGETTING TO PLAY A DEFENSE IN THE SEMI FINALS AND WINNING. WUT?

-------------------------------------------------------------------

2nd League runner-up, #3 Legends
Romo was a great choice

9-5 (1-1 playoffs)
1st PF (100+ over #2)
8th PA

One word to describe this season... "Bummer".
No one in this league (especially if we continue with auction)... will ever have a RB Corp like his. AP's injury concerns dropped him. Ray Rice was taken in the first round. Muscle Hamster was a unproven rookie. He had the #1, #2, and #6 RBs.

Nuts.
I'll have to look it up again but he dropped a monsterous 185.3 on poor Atlanta Lions. I remember getting a text saying something on the lines of "wtf" from Mr. Yeun. Every single player but Adrian Peterson won their games. Doug Martin put up a disgusting 51.2 points and even the Chargers' D dropped 26 points.

It defied logic and I was actually hoping he'd be the first to break the 200 mark. I thought about it and the expectation of score we have for fantasy is the same we have for Running Backs. 100+ is expected and 200 is a legendary number. Will it happen this year? probably not.

Was Romo a great choice? He wasn't bad. Didn't necessarily "wow" you but didn't screw you either. Meh

Team MVP: Muscle Hamster. Yes, Adrian Peterson is a living legend for coming back from THAT injury and dominating the world. But if I asked you preseason which story is more impressive... you'd have said Doug Martin.

Best Transaction: Uh... drafting his entire RB corp.

He owned: Atlanta Lions... haha uh... He took all the points in week 9. The second highest total was 119.1.

He got schooled by: Gronk if youre Horny. Close friend Paul Min deflated playoff hopeful Romo was a great choice by beating him by 0.9. YES, it was not asshole-like 0.2 like JOON in WEEK 1 but... to lose by 0.9 while hot on the hunt for the playoffs is pretty demoralizing.

Moment to Remember: Not to beat a dead horse but... 185.3?
Gross. Also... you'll never have RBs like that again.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

4th Place, Leaders Champion
Shiva Help Again

8-6 (0-2 playoffs)
8th PF
3rd PA

Suprising.
That's how I define his season.
Not cause he was a bad manager, but because his team... is... not a team that grabs your attention. However, take Jeff from 2012 and apply it to Henry in 2013. It was all thanks to his QB.

If I told you a team was 8th in points for... and made the playoffs, you'd slap me. It was a mix of scheduling luck and Super Brees that got him in. His highest point total was 111.7. Never did he eclipse 115 points and only broke 100 5 times in the regular season.

What hurt his numbers the most was the lack of production from his RB1. Run DMC was no where to be found last season. One week it took him almost 30 carries to get 100 yards and he scored 2 touchdowns the entire season.

At the end of the day, he did enough and his opponents didn't.

We'll see how it goes this year.

Team MVP: ... again, boring... Drew Brees

Best Transaction: Screw that, I'm gonna go the opposite. No one was more RAH RAH about the veto fiasco than Henry. Who adamantly told me that he would veto for the sake of vetoing after a trade he thought was fair. So we're gonna just put this here instead haha

He owned: Not really owned but deflated... Buy In Waived, week 12. 95.7-95.4. Hilarious

He got schooled by: In the mother of sissy-fight slap festivals... Week 13 Team Excrement "yo mama so fat"-ed Henry with 85.1. In response Henry pulled down his skirt and cried with 75.1 points... while the rest of the league looked at both of them shaking our heads.

What's even better is the fact that it was the opposite in a more embarassing manner for Team Excrement in week 7 when Henry slappity slapped him with 86.3 points and Team Excrement not only pulled down his skirt but wet himself in response with 52.3 points in week 7. Oh you two... stop it... :)

Moment to Remember: Winning with 82.7 points... it should never happen. But really if there's anything to remember... remember that last year your division was the JV division and you were the only one that can say they made the playoffs out of 6 people.
Make them call you master.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

DRAFT RESULTS

I hate auction.
Uh...
WTF.

Lemme recap everyone's top dollar picks and some ridiculous things.
Oh before I do, let me point out that the ESPN "valuation" of players does not mean THAT IS WHAT IS THE NORM TO PAY. Mind you that the standard draft will give you 200 dollars... I happened to have bumped it up to 215 cause we have an additional WR slot. The figures for the top players in valuation is how much production they are expected to give and the dollar amount is the number that represents that VALUE on a 1-200 scale. If you pick guys for ridiculous amounts AHEM GRONK IF YOURE HORNY AHEM then you're left with 11 ONE DOLLAR PLAYERS.

Am I saying that's bad to do? Actually no. A lot of people recommend going after the ones you want aggressively. When you look at GiyH's team you have 2 of the top 5 RBs and 2 big NAMES at WR.
Maybe a bit too agressive, but we'll see.

Anyways, some picks of note:

Matt Ryan - 123 dollars. LOL. I learned the hard way that manual bidding requires you to delete the 1 already in the box instead of it disappearing when you click it. Also learned that "enter" makes it go...

Okay for real though...

Adrian Peterson 83 - Gronk
Arian Foster 73 - Team Excrement
Ray Rice 72 - Aaron Hernasty
CJ Spiller 67 - Team Excrement
Jamaal Charles 67 - Gronk
Doug Martin 67 - Go Greene
Marshawn Lynch 63 - Joon's Football Squad
Calvin Johnson 66 - Calvin's Johnson

Those are NUTS numbers.

Bonkers.

Let's recap.

Return of the Sea Bass

Weird weird weird weird. Not what I was expecting.
Waited enough by the time Frank Gore was nominated and threw out 39 bucks for him which is actually a steal if Gore can play given that his QB is stupid and runs. LeSean was a return player and maybe the manager got a little freaked out and jumped up the bid to 59. However that's the budget I gave myself for my top guy coming into the draft so it worked out.

Steals: Gore (39), Ryan (25), DeMarco Murray (17)

WTFs: Lions D/ST (1), Run DMC (27), and the fact that there are 7 WRs.

Gut feeling: Matt Ryan... has great receivers. Can he do what he did last year? What realllllly helps him is that Steven Jackson is on his team now. He is one of the BEST out of the backfield in receiving and it was already Ryan's strength. He has a weird RB corp that I am having doubts about. At least there's 4 worthy RBs so if one ends up not panning out, he can sub in. If they ALL work out... trade for a decent WR instead of hoarding 7 mediocre ones.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Joon's Football Squad

What? 20 dollars on a backup QB? 9.3% of your bankroll?
There's only 40ish players who were bought for >20 dollars. Most of those are on teams with established QBs, so if it's for trade... and you're expected 20 dollar value... you're not going to get it... Maybe if Stafford is the Stafford of 2012 you might. Injuries do happen so maybe I'll eat crow on this.

More than half of his bankroll went into two players. Aaron Rodgers and Marshawn combined for 117 dollars. But when you got two guys you want, go out and get them. Aaron is a top 3 QB and Marshawn should be in the top 7.

Steals: Mike Wallace (10)... not many, Don't even really think Wallace was a steal. This was a team who went out and got what he wanted and tried to manage the rest of his money to fill in decent players.

WTFs: Stafford (20), Stephen Gostkowski (5)

Gut feeling: Needs work. Everyone knows what I think about the RB and Flex positions. Joon has one. So then the wide receivers should be excellent... Amendola needs to replicate Welker and Mike Wallace needs to be the explosive deep threat of old to make that happen.
Need a QB?
Want Stafford?
Contact Joon.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Calvin's Johnson

First timer. Introduction. I think Kevin may be the baby of the league, same age as Joon I believe but who wins the birthday race?
Anyways, I believe he's in the last year at MSU and can golf pretty well. A sports guy, so he should fit right in.

Not bad Rookie.
Peyton for 50, I see why. Calvin for 66, obligated to because of his name.
He has a pretty good looking WR Corp and combine that with who I believe will be contending for MVP rights (Peyton) you have a scary looking team. Now... Week 9 is going to be hilarious for him (and me) with so many byes but meh. We'll see how it plays out

Steals: Reggie Wayne (17), Greg Jennings (7), Jermaine Gresham (1)

WTFs: Bears D (4), Vincent Jackson (31)... Calvin Johnson (66)... that's still an overpay.

Gut Feeling: We all know I feel about WRs. A great WR corp is a LUXURY not a necessity for me. I want RBs all day and everyday. Is Montee Ball and DeAngelo Williams the answer? I wouldn't say so for me.
However, if any star WR could have star RB consistency... it's Calvin. Peyton is still the man and Luck will only get better and do what Peyton used to do with Reggie Wayne. Vincent is a wildcard for me on a TB team that had the worst coach in the history of football 2 years ago, then found Muscle Hamster last year.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Aaron HerNASTY

Lol Mike Vick. What a steal.
Er.. potential steal. I say that but that's definitely a 7 dollars well spent. I guess he made up for what he would have spent on QB and combined it with his RB budget and dropped 72 dollars for Ray Rice. 72!? He wasn't even top 5 last year! Yes, he is great though, so you go and get what you want and that's what he did. I like the Julio Jones pick up for 39. That to me was a bigger steal than Vick because Julio is a damn sure thing.

I really do like the balance of this team. One top RB and WR and some nice 2 options.

Steals: Vick (7), Julio Jones (39), Decker (17)

WTFs: Ray rice (72), Colin Kaepernick (14), Ryan Mathews (18)

Gut Feeling: Man. This team could have been scary if he didn't spend double his first qb cost on a backup. Sure it's insurance, but worry about that later! Ray Rice is solid. David Wilson is a gamble but not bad, you have 3 very startable and clear choices at WR. So combine the 18 on RMat and 14 on Kaep and spend 32 on a great RB or WR and round out that flex position!
Unlike Jeff Kim teams of the past, the QB position is a question mark but if you had the 6 RB/WR/Flex positions as solid as it could have been a great QB would have just been a luxury.

We'll see how it goes. Still not a bad team and RMat may end up being that solid flex. He's been underacheiving for a while now.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Team Excrement

Holy crap. 140 dollars on two guys.
178 dollars on 3.
But those three guys are...
CJ Spiller, Arian Foster, and Tom Sexy Brady.
Luckkkkkkyyyyyyyy

Then what? Lots of poop poop poop.
I think this is why I can't do what I've talked about when it comes to getting the guys you want.
Arian is great. 73 dollars great? He was 3 years ago. CJ is a monster who just needs to stay healthy.

Either way, I don't know what else I can say about this team.
There is no balance. 3 Ferraris surround by Geo Metros. But then again I'd take 3 Ferraris and a bunch of Geo Metros. Bad analogy.
I apologize.

Steals: Anquan Boldin (7), Owen Daniels (4), Philip Rivers (1)

WTFs: Arian (73), CJ (67), Mikel Leshoure (2)

Gut feeling: Get 25-30 points each from the aforementioned big three and figure out during the season what to do with the rest of the slots and maybe you got yourself a Championship team. I think 60 points is easily doable for those 3 players on a consistent basis... Maybe. The greatness of the big 3 on this team... I think has potential to be a .500 team with average players. Potential is just a dumb word for dumb optimism though.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

ANSAHPPABLE CABRERA

I like it. Question marks though.
Lacy is a Question mark for me but AJ is not. Ridley... I know the gift and curse that is Stevan Ridley given the team he plays for. Which Cutler are we going to get this year? BMarsh was questionable enough for me to hover my cursor away from the bid button once 25 dollars wasn't going to happen. RG3 is RG3. Is he going to break all limbs or break all QB rushing records?

Steals: RG3 (20), Antonio Brown (7), Daryl Richardson (8)

WTFs: Ridley (47)

Gut feeling: Hypothetically... if all those question marks have positive answers, you have a great team. RG3 at last year's prime was unreal. Combine that with two potential top 5 WRs and a physical running back on a GREAT team and a great natural runner in Stevan Ridley and you have a great team. Cherry on top? Daryl Richardson (I love him btw) becomes a Chris Johnson-like outside speed freak and looks good. All possible things.
My success rates on the things I just mentioned?

RG3 (freak)- 70%
Eddie Lacy (TD machine)- 30%
Ridley (15+ points) - 33%
AJ Green (top 3 WR) - 80%
B Marsh (top 10 WR) - 25%

It's my opinion so suck it.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Gronk if youre Horny

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
12 players (if you include a 4 dollar guy as a 1 dollar guy).
Then you got 4 guys taking up the rest of the budget.
This is "go-after' strategy at its most aggressive form.

AP. I get it. 83 points.
Jamaal is my boy and you paid SIXTY SEVEN for him.
Just letting you know. Jamaal has injury issues. But I get it. Him healthy is the greatest thing ever. However, when his team is losing, he doesn't get touches minus the rare pass. KC has been the best worst team for so long so maybe they'll actually play with more leads.

Victor was a good price I think but Larry is risky. Carson... is so frustrating.

Steals: Victor Cruz (26), Andy Dalton (1)

WTFs: E.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. else.

Gut feeling: You could have done so much worse at QB. Dalton at least throws to AJ. You have 2 great great great great RBs. A top 15 WR, and a former unstoppable force in Fitz. Play the hypothetical game like we did for Danny S and that's still only 4-5 guys who are consistent... That's a risky game to play.
Let's try this game with you instead.
Andy Dalton - 15 points
AP - 25
Jamaal - 20
Cruz - 15
Larry - 15
Everyone else - 20.
That's 110.
That's damn good.
Stop smiling Paul.
That's not what's gonna happen.
It could some weeks, but for damn sure not every week.
ESPECIALLY when the bye weeks come into play.
Gotta make moves man.

Unlike your fantasy dues, better sooner than later. hahaha <3

-------------------------------------------------------------------

SCOOP YOU

Always leaves me scratching my head.

Trent was pretty consistent last year. But 57 dollars on a bad Cleveland team? I guess that's excusable. Roddy for 34 is appropriate and Andre is worth as much to me as Calvin is and given that the other Johnson went for 66, 42 isn't bad for Andre.

The Gronk nomination and price was puzzling. Strategy will tell you to keep him on your radar and off everyone else's radar to get a studmuffin who's injured for the lowest price possible. Instead Danny K whipped it out like a 10 inch schlong and showed the world early. 19 bucks? Is he worth it? If healthy, he's worth 30! But he's not. He hasn't been in a LONG time. Hopefully it pans out, but it wasn't a risk that was necessary.

Then... Kyle Rudolph for 12?
What? Why? Flex? I don't understand!?

Then 2 Defenses.

I don't know. Maybe it's genius and my mind is too simple to understand haha.

Steals: Lawfirm (10) - unless he loses the job before the season starts, Roddy White (34), James Jones (9)

WTFs: Broncos D (2), Both TEs (19, 12), Vick Ballard (4), Andre Brown (5)

Gut feeling: There's a lot of weirdness going on. But at the core you have the best young QB, a good young RB, 2 excellent wide receivers, and the greatest Red Zone TD machine in recent history on one team. Gronk is a health concern and I don't know how good Trent will be. I have no hopes for Lawfirm, he's nothing but a red zone guy but the Bengals started to figure out that AJ Green is the best option in the Red Zone. Merp. Again, I'm not optimistic for this team in the end. Looks better than the last two season though. There's a bigger chance I'm wrong this time.

------------------------------------------------------------

Atlanta Lions

Haha. How annoying was Steven's autobid "bot" or whatever. The damn thing was relentless in its pursuit for certain players.

Alfred Morris for 55 feels like an overpay but for his first RB, why not.
Steven Jackson to me is hugely underrated going into this season given his new team but he was definitely pursued with the same thought in mind for 45 dollars. Dez Bryant... sigh... that was the moment I was the one saying, "damn it Steven". I love Dez. He won me my championship last year. 45 bucks. Hell I'd have paid 45 and like... a real dollar, for him but it would have thrown my budget off like crazy.

The autobid, left him with a nice balance and lots of insurance players.

Steals: Mendenhall (10), Cutler (1), Martellus Bennett (1), Ben the Rapist (2), DeAndre Hopkins (1)

WTFs: Alfred Morris (55), Dez Bryant (45)

Gut feeling: Lots of "steals" here. But Cutler is a clown but he is not a 1 dollar, end of draft guy. Cutler is a talent. His blocking is terrible and his attitude sucks. Ben the Rapist is a rapist but he's still a multiple superbowl champion. Mendenhall was almost not put in the steal column but the more I think about it, he's just a big body goal line guy. I think Arizona can give her more chances to Mendenhall in the red zone. Say what you want about Carson, but the last time he had a great WR, he had MVP contending seasons.

If Alfred avoids a sophomore slump and Cam Newton overcomes his post-rookie slump, there's a lot of points this team can run into. Probably need a couple WRs to become a powerhouse if the aforementioned questions are answered.

36 Dollar man

Mr. conservative.
The exact opposite of "go get him" "strategery".
CJ for 39? Pretty good. He's still the fastest RB in the league. Matt Forte? Really depends on how the team does and Reggie Bush for 25? Might end up being a huge steal.

Romo for 5 is technically a steal and Jordy... oh Jordy... so up and down. I like this team. I think he found a ton of quality for less than ten bucks down the line.
yeesh.

steals: Everyone under ten dollars. Reggie Bush (25)

WTFs: 0 (No Kenbrell is not a WTF, that was to finish his lineup)

Gut feeling: Sorry to do this to you again (I think). He's my pick for best team. It has more to do with consistency and depth than anything else. Can CJ return to greatness? Maybe. If not, Henry will just flex a WR. Can Forte be bad enough to bench? nah. Can Reggie be great in Detroit? Yes. Jordy, Torrey, and Stevie are all good, good wide receivers.

If any of those WRs don't work out, he has... TY Hilton, Miles Austin, Mike Williams, Chris Given... to go to.

Geez.
Well done.
Nothing OUTSTANDING, but nothing to pick at.
But just for kicks...

Romo.

Go Greene

Muscle Hamster jacked up his street cred last year.
I admit I was wrong. :(

67 bucks? Appropriate for a guy who can display consistency year-by-year. Has that been shown for a ROOKIE?...
...
the answer is... it can't.
Stupid.

So anyways. 67 bucks, top...5? RB. Nice.
32 for the best healthy TE on the board? yes. Nice.
MJD... injury concern but great when healthy? Yeah, okay nice.
Everything is prety much... nice.

I can see why Walter wanted auction. His... past... snake antics... were weird. (Vick #1 overall. Gates 2nd round, etc.)

Well done sir.

Steals: Lamar Miller (15), Dwayne Bowe (13), Fred Jackson (4)

WTFs: Russell Wilson (12)

Gut feeling: Okay, so let me explain some of that stuff. I don't think many know who Lamar Miller is. He's probably the starter for Miami. He's fast, he's long and strong. Fred Jackson? A steal? I think it was proven that CJ can't go a full season. I can't doubt Old man fred anymore. He's just... a beast.
So given all that... how do I feel?

I think for SURE things... walter... doesn't really have much.
Jimmy was merp last year.
Doug is a sophomore (the closest thing to a sure thing)
MJD is always injured and Denard is breathing down his neck.... AHAHAHAHAHAHA just kidding about the Denard part.
Dwayne plays for KC.

Russell Wilson... now... it's in WTF because WTF? He was a rookie qb that didn't show anything fantasy-wise. I think he's just Cam Newton. I don't see anything big from him this year. They know he can run now and for 12 bucks.. I don't know man. Romo went for 5. I'm not fully convinced Romo doesn't do better than Russell.

So to get to the point. Too many "I'm not sure" stuff for me to confidently go with my gut. I'll just say he does great and makes the playoffs. No more bottom-feeding for the husband-to-be.

Thobias Funke

Also a new-comer this year. He is an analrapist (Arrested Development). So I've known him since he was like... 3 or something. He blue himself when he was young with UMich-isms and then went to USC for college. Add another Cali player in our league with Chris and Steven (sometimes). Big time sports guy so again... he'll fit right in.

So.
New guy.
Drew Brees for 51 eh?
Then like... 5 WRs and a douche moment in muscling me off my favorite TE Vernon Davis.
Then again muscled me off Giovani Bernard.

I just straight up like this team when you take away what I view as most valuable (elite running backs).

Steals: Colston (18), Nicks (10), Tavon Austin (5), Vernon Davis (14), Giovani Bernard (9), Gates (6)

WTFs: Cobb (32)

Gut feeling: Not 100% certain that Cobb is Jenning's heir to the GB receiver throne. But supposedly fantasy experts are certain. They're just as right as I am. Anyways. You know this team is solid through and through at QB and WR. RB is crazy weak. Ahmad will not be the end all be all RB at Indy. Bryce Brown is a great potential but has LeSean to supplant. Giovani Bernard, I LOVE. I'm fully convinced he'll have the starting job by week 4. However... He doesn't yet... and just like fantasy "gurus" I'm most likely wrong about that. I value RBs more than anything. Everyone knows that.
I don't see the RBs here.

Vernon Davis should have been mine. Gimme him and a WR for DeMarco Murray. Hahahaha

Alright everyone.
Good luck.
Remember veto this year will require 6 votes. So please, whenever you see a trade, take the time to review and put in your input.

No previews this year. Too much stuff on my plate.
Reviews and junk will be done as always.

Good luck.

Go Lions.

Congratulate Walter and Chris on their engagements if you didn't know.

Watch the Walking Dead starting October 13th and giggle like a schoolgirl when Steven comes on the screen and tell your friends how you smoked/got smoked by his fantasy football team.

Tell attractive single women ages 20-27 about how tall and good looking I am.

Ok enough.
