Week 8 2014

Week 8

I'M 8-0!!!!!11one

... In this other league where there is no winnings... no trophy... no real bragging rights.
I would give up all those wins for just two more in this league. Cause.... at the end of the day this one has bragging rights and a fruggin trophy!

I love this league regardless of my record...
Sure, there are other leagues that might pay more out at the end or whatnot but I'm pretty sure everyone in here is not involved with another that has a friggin trophy right?
Man...

So when I say that I have a busy week and I ask someone to write notes I'd assume that someone would be like... OH COOL! I'D LOVE TO.

But I GUESS THERE IS SOME OTHER DOUCHE LEAGUE THAT SUCKS WITH STUPID ASS PEOPLE TRADING STUPID ASS PLAYERS FOR AWESOME PLAYERS.... SUPPOSEDLY AT ONE POINT IT HAD A COMMISH CONTROLLED TRADE SYSTEM AND A LIMIT TO TRANSACTIONS PER SEASON. OH AND NO DAMN TROPHY.
BUT I GUESS WRITING A NOTE FOR A DUMB ASS LEAGUE LIKE THAT JUST CAUSE YOU HAVE A BETTER RECORD THERE (WHO WOULDN'T!?) IS TOTALLY FINE CAUSE EFF THE TROPHY RIGHT?
CHEAT ON YOUR LEAGUE, WITH YOUR TROPHY WATCHING YOU... PROBABLY FROM THE FLOOR COVERED IN STAINED UNDERWEAR AS YOU TYPE UP POWER RANKINGS WHILE YOU KEEP THIS SECRET FROM ME.

THAT'S FINE.
ENJOY BEING KING OF FOOLS AFTER BEING THE KING OF MASTERS LAST YEAR.

/anger

Anyways.

How ridiculous are the Lions?
If they were a fantasy team, everyone would hate them. Improbable upsets coming late in the 4th Quarter.

If the season ended today, we get a first round bye!
I'll find joy in that.

Anyways...

Brutal brutal brutal brutal.

I feel you Shin-dog.
I lost on the last drive my opponent had to score points too. Similar fashion as Andre Johnson got 22 yards to kill me. Jordan Reed had done nothing and somehow pulled out 16 yards and Romo did nothing to counter that.
Romo Romo Romo.

Just like that Henry jumps out to 6-2 is on top of his division once again.

On the other side sits Jeffrey with a stellar (ha!) 7-1 record.

#1 Seed
Jeff Kim

This team is insanity. It boasts the top PF standing as well the 3rd lowest PA but I don't think it really matters. Even with a stronger PA I assume that would at worst add one loss. I guess it's time for me to predict that he loses again. Will it be this week? Mmm... I love New England but I don't see how Peyton doesn't have a top 5 QB day. Plus his opponent has terrible RB matchups and will probably start Andy Dalton.

I kept mentioning how this team's core is amazing. Peyton will hands down finish the year, barring injury, as the top QB if not the overall top fantasy player (Luck and Rodgers haven't had their Bye to this point). That automatically handcuffs Julius Thomas to have a top 3 TE year and probably somewhere in the top 40 overall players. Core aside, it was always a question of production elsewhere. He has Jeremy Maclin, a surprising Andre Ellington, and pretty solid depth all around. Ahmad Bradshaw is clearly the unsung hero of this team as he has put up double digits in 6 of the 8 games.

Verdict: Team is playoff bound and will be a favorite to win it all as long as he can avoid injuries.

#2 Seed
Henry Kook

Again... almost lost, I was hoping he'd lose. At one point Jeff looked like he COULD lose too. The more upsets, the more the league gets condensed.... The more it gets condensed, the better chance I have at making a run haha.
Anyways, bad movie with bad actress is doing pretty well for himself. Take Jeff's stats and shift it one position. 2nd in PF and 4th lowest PA. This all comes with Drew Brees not being as good as we're all used to seeing. He comes in as the 11th best QB under guys like Russell Wilson, Jay Cutler, and Matt Ryan.
The biggest star for him (and maybe the league) is Antonio Brown. He is a flat out monster. I have him in the league that doesn't matter and he single-handedly pushes me to break my own scoring record in that league. He outscores #2 Demaryius by 19 points and is the 15th overall player.
It's scary to think what will happen if Dez starts getting Dez-hot. He's been pretty solid but we should expect more from Dez than what he's been putting up.
With Denard stepping in at the flex and steathly RBs to fill in if he doesn't work out, he's put himself in a good position to keep rolling.

Just please don't offer me a package that includes Michael Crabtree for Gronk again.

Verdict: Should continue to be okay, especially if he survives some matchup/bye issues the next couple weeks.

#3
Danny Kim

Still... weird... that I say your name so early.
Not a fluke.
He's #4 in PF and has the fifth lowest PA. That puts him in the middle 4 for PA so it's safe to say +/- 1 win?
How has he done it?
Receivers.
Jordy + Cobb + Tate.
Tate's production might fall a bit if Calvin returns after the bye week (although as a Lions fan I hope Stafford would not revert back to eye banging Calvin all day and night).

His bench is atrocious but those 3 receivers file in as the #2, 4, and 7th best in the league. Yeah I said it. Surprisingly it Randall Cobb that's the one tied with Demaryius for the #2 spot with 114.7 points so far and not Jordy. He's having an excellent year.

Justin Forsett has clearly established himself as the starter and as long as he finds a way to replace Bernard Pierce (who was a healthy scratch last week ???) he should be okay.
All WR depth is used up as he rolls out a Sanu (#15) at the flex so yeah... this team really needs a RB.
But that point is moot if the receivers can perform.
Cam has a pretty decent schedule left.

Verdict: Maintains contention. Surviving this week will be important as all 3 of those studs are all on bye. (honestly it's pretty much conceded)

#4
Joon Kim

Champion of the PA. Yet, 5th in PF so, I'm actually surprised his record isn't better.
Then you see that he's winning huge when he does win.
You could argue that this team should be winning consistently and actually seeded higher.
DeMarco Murray is the big surprise this year as he still continues to fumble the ball like a clown but gets to run the ball about 20 times a game. That's sick cause he averages 20 points a game. Let's pretend he doesn't do anything in the receiving game (he does) and just say he's getting a point per attempt.
Ronnie Hillman was the steal of the century as Montee Ball (like I said... I never understood why he was so high) is hurt but also... kindaa..... sucks.
AJ will be returning this week and Matt Ryan continues to underperform.
You'd think he'd score more given these players but then again... like I said... Matt Ryan underperforming and he's just now getting AJ back.
His depth at WR is pretty nice as BMarsh sits down and Andrew Hawkins takes his spot. Hawkins is probably a monster in PPR leagues.

Even if his team continues at the pace it's going, you'd think an upgrade at the flex position would give this team that extra 5-10 point boost that seems so crucial given the scores of his losses. I like Ertz as a football player but as a fantasy asset he's only given 6.5 per game. I think it might be worth it to give a WR if not an RB a shot at that position as he seems to be giving up important points when his studs act like duds in certain weeks.

Verdict: All the potential in the world to actually go up the standings but questions on health and more importantly... consistently plague the team

#5
Chris Han

Bad luck team.
#3 in PF and right in the middle of league in PA standing.
He's lost twice while scoring 100+ and his score fluctuates from 124 to 73.
Take a look at his team and you understand why.
Luck is the man. I am an idiot. He's the #1 QB (probably will change after his bye. see Peyton Manning)
But look at everyone else.
Marshawn started off super hot and has cooled off significantly while having fantasy owners raise their eyebrows this week with a little controversy.
I can only imagine what this team would have been like had Adrian Beat-her-son stayed out of trouble. Run DMC just isn't doing a good enough job to contribute towards consistent wins.
Michael Floyd put up a fat zero last week and Larry Fitz has been pretty bad minus this week. BUT! TY has emerged recently and is averaging 20 in his last 3 games.

Having said all that... it's not as bad as Joon's situation at the FLEX but Delanie Walker is averaging 9 points a game and that's not even as good as it sounds. A 20 point outlier pushes that average up as he's on a really crappy team that's rolling out rookie Mr. Pre-Game Selfie at QB.
They're on a Bye this week, so perfect time to experiment with some replacements.

Verdict: Shaky. Luck will be solid all year but there's way too much inconsistent play from players with a lower ceiling than you'd like. TEAM ceiling is wild-card.

#6
Sewook Park

I don't understand.
Lowest PF... by a LOT. 35 points from #11... Even with the 2nd lowest PA, his PF/PA differential is +8.
He's eclipsed 100 points... once.
No comprendo.
Outside of his 2 QBs, Defenses, and TE Travis Kelce, there are no players left in the top ten of their position.
That's a bit unfair as he has guys who are just now starting to get touches (Bishop Sankey, Tre Mason) but he also has some that will probably lose a significant amount of touches (Doug Martin).
Winning is winning though, and regardless of how he got to this point to be in the mix, all that matters now is what happens from here on out.
I'm not so sure on how optimistic to be for a couple reasons:

1. Tre Mason plays for the new Bill Belichek... Jeff Fisher. He seems to want to have a 3-headed... poodle... at running back. After 18 carries 2 weeks ago, he got 7 this past week.
2. Bishop Sankey. The worst scenario for a fantasy owner is to have a RB play for a team that will always be playing from behind. The first page of the Selfie King experiment went in the books and it was awful. Not sure how much value Sankey will carry.
3. Doug Martin is pretty much on his way out as Charlie Simms has the hype train on his side. He's been pretty awful regardless of having a hyped up RB breathing down his neck.
4. Remaining depth at RB. Mathews, JStew, and Ray Rice (haha).

Verdict: Trending down. He got the bounces to go his way the first half of the season but it'll be harder for luck to help when his team's performance gets worse.

#7
Sven Yeun

6th in PF... Supplants me as the unluckiest team with the worst PA.
Frankly, a couple of unfortunate mistakes cost this team many wins but man, this team looks like it should be doing so much better.
Philip Rivers actually ended up being a stud QB this year. He's the 4th best QB in the game right now and his RBs are SICK. Arian at #2 (should be 1 without injuries) and Le'Veon is quietly #4. Add in Emmanuel Sanders who gets the Peyton Manning ultra-bump and you have a pretty good core. Once again, I have to mention the flex position for this team as well. SJax just doesn't do it for you. Terrible injury to CJ Spiller but that wasn't doing you any favors either. Pierre Thomas only averages 0.1 more than SJax and trust me when I say that Reggie Bush will not be the answer. That Flex position could end up making or breaking this team.

More unlucky issues come from the fact that Edelman just sucks. Handsome Sex King Tom Brady was rolling on Sunday with pretty much a perfect passer rating when he threw a ball right at the hands of Edelman... who then said, "nah. No thanks" and let the ball hit the ground. I think Belichek and Brady had enough and had him sit the rest of the game. Not a good sign. Garcon has nobody throwing to him and is completely underacheiving due to that fact. Having a Edelman comeback and a QB to throw to Garcon would drastically change the fortunes of this team.

Verdict: Even without a flex, this team is so good in the first 3 slots. Hypothetically, it has the potential to score 100 points if slots 4-10 averages a little above 6 points each assuming QB 20 RB 20 RB 15. Hard to compete against the top tier teams but could manage enough wins against the bottom feeders to stay relevant but has dug himself a big, big hole. Wild Card ceiling.

#8
Kevin Ahn

3rd worst PA means he's still overperforming against what luck has tried to force him to be.
Originally thought to be a secret millionaire whose sole purpose was to ruin my life, he seems to actually like it when Tom Terrific does well now. Tom Brady has already jumped up to #8 in the QB rankings after a terrible start. 34.2 points this past week!
Never doubt Tom.
Never.
I've never got to own Matt Forte before... but I have him in my meaningless league. The guy is amazing.
An up-trending Brady with Forte's consistency gives this team a good foundation to build on.
If only Matt Ryan could get the ball to Julio a bit better (averaging about 5 rec per game for the last 3 weeks), this team would have a pretty good core.
Alfred Morris temporarily falls into the category of good back on terrible team and Jeremy Hill is only a bye replacement.
This team has scored 130 points and... 51 points (thanks!)...
He's a couple pieces away from being "in it" every week. It's debatable that he already is "in it" now that Tom is back. His 130 pointer had flacco score in the 30s. Brady did that last week.... and this team only finished 141.

Verdict: Perhaps RG3 returning will help this team out. Despite my desire to proclaim this team as a 2nd half team to watch... I can't do it til Matt Ryan proves he will utilize one of the most dangerous downfield threats in the NFL in Julio Jones and Alfred Morris gets back to running the ball 20+ times a game. Until that happens there are not enough points generated to cover for WR woes.

#9
Danny Shin

Oh how the mighty have fallen.
It's okay, no matter how hard it gets... one should stay FAITHFUL to one's allegiance.
It's hard to CHEAT destiny when she has you in her crosshairs.
...
I lost track of where I was going with this.
...
...
whore.

Anyways.
Names look good.
JAMAAL CHARLES!! EDDIE LACY!! DEMARYIUS THOMAS!! RODDY WHITE!! tony.
Once the Lions stop effing around with Reggie and just let Joique do his thing (it may never happen), I feel like Joique is just... good enough to be a 100 yard guy.
My knock on Lacy has always been that the Packers will live and die in the hands of Aaron Rodgers. He's getting the volume of carries he needs to be successful, but watch the next Packers game if you can. There is a giant difference between teams like... Houston/Dallas/Pre-child beat Minnesota and teams like Detroit/Atlanta/Green Bay in the way they run the ball.
The former, use runs to do damage. On back-to-back running plays, you can see the intent and scheme. The latter, use the run to set up passes. While Dallas/Houston/KC play chess within the running game, Detroit/Green Bay use the running game as a crappy low and outside slider to set up the high and tight fastball.
Thus, I can't trust running backs like Lacy, SJax, Bush/Joique.
The only time you'll reap the benefits is if they end up at the goalline. Even then, you'll probably get what you want 60% of the time compared to the teams who'll run it 3 times in a row from 3 yards out. Of course there's the chance that they contribute in the passing game like Lacy did last week, but with options like Jordy and Cobb, Lacy is not going to be first option there either.

Anywho.
Same thing said about Julio applies to White, Demaryius is fine, and Andre Johnson is old as dirt.
This team has already went APOW-Turd-APOW before, and it's totally understandable. The RB play will probably continue to be a rollercoaster ride. A great performance by one of his receivers or even... heh... Tony Romo might counter that once in a while but on days where guys like Lacy and Bell get lucky and have goalline touches, he'll put up the points. Other weeks when Aaron and Matthew are the key components... he might sputter.

Verdict: Not sure on what the true value of Sims is. Ridiculous comparisons to Forte already being made. If even half true, RB consistency will skyrocket. I'm a skeptic so I'll say that doesn't happen. Optimistically... .500 rest of way? It's like asking me to pick lottery numbers.

#10
Paul Min

Too high on PA.
Calvin injury + No QB + No RB + Not really any WR.
Okay, Tannehill is actually surprising. Not nearly good enough.
You can argue all you want about Chris Ivory being #10 for RB. I don't care. He sucks and plays for a sucky team.
Branden Oliver might be a bright spot but he looked meh the last two weeks and gets another defense that can probably stop him. If Denard can run 100+ on Miami... Oliver... should threaten to. But, then again maybe I'm vastly underrating sweet, sweet, dilithium Denard.
Calvin needs to come back and be the anchor for this team. As good as Calvin is, even when he's healthy, he's not a lock to put up 20. He could get 110 yards and no score. That's why a QB or RB has to be "that guy". Steve Smith has significantly cooled down and Kearse... I still don't see the bump that Baldwin got applying to him.
LeSean still looks pedestrian and maybe you should trade him to me so he can be happy again.

Verdict: Just... too little depth to risk saying that this team can make it's way out to relevance.

#11
Walter Rhee

Oh boy, what happened?
Second to last in PF and not doing very well in the PA luck department either.
This team ran into problems with Montee Ball and Rashad Jennings. The replacements for them aren't bad. Tate isn't hot but Lamar has definitely been surprising.
Cordarrelle Patterson looked insane week 1 then has magically disappeared and aside from DeAndre Hopkins, there isn't much to look at in the WR department. Odell Beckham Jr. could break out and help but this team has some really ugly average scores across the board.
Unlike some other teams that have run into consistent spells, this team just lacks the top tier talent to turn things around without it being a huge surprise. The ceiling on this team is pretty low and luck wasn't on its side when it lost after putting up a season high 110.9 last week.

Even last week, it was a 110.9 that came 2 players and the D/K combo. Pretty rare for a team to get 20+ from the D/K and lose.

Verdict: Bottom 4

#12
Me

What an awful team. 3rd from the bottom in PF and 2nd worst PA.
Combination for disaster.
Actually incredibly lucky to have two wins and was a mere point or 2 from having 3.
I'm actually averaging 95ish points but the sad thing is, the mean is pretty much where I hang around. It'd be kinda okay if I averaged 95 by having 130 point weeks mixed in with some 50 point weeks... but nah. I'm consistently bad.

Surprising cause I've been mixing my players around... out of necessity.
Alshon is suffering badly from Cutler's recent bout with retardation. Nick Foles seems to be bipolar. Zac Stacy found himself in a RB carousel and my hope has to be in Bryce Brown.

Frank Gore is not being utilized the way he should, which gives me reason to not be surprised by the rumors that the players are mad at Harbaugh.
There were some great acquisitions... like Baldwin, Quick (not anymore), and Royal (not anymore). But those acquisitions are outshadowed by trading away Luck and drafting fools like Reggie Bush. I never thought that Reggie Bush would be dropped off my team before Trent Richardson.

Wes Welker seems to be a turd and this team is just bad.
The crazy thing is, there is actual... hope.

Gore should carry the ball 20 times a game. The only time he did, he dominated.
Foles is severely underperforming to his potential. You see glimpses of it here and there and it's beautiful to see.
Bryce Brown has too much potential to lose out to Dixon.
Wes Welker is supposed to be one of the greatest slot receivers of all time.
Doug Baldwin is now the primary WR with a capable QB.
Dwayne Bowe gets the yards, not the touchdowns.
Sammy Watkins has looked better and better since the Bills replaced a moron with an actual quarterback.
Jay Cutler needs to get his shart together so that Alshon can have his great 200+ yard games.

Those are all the "potentials".

Rob Gronkowski finally reached it as he's been playing more and more snaps.

The only negatives are Trent, Royal, and Zac Stacy.

Given all this "hope"

Verdict: Bottom 4.

2014 Week 6

Week 6

My apologies for the late update.
I've been swamped and all around busy....
that fact plus the fact that sports depresses me is probably why this is the first time I've actually logged into this league's website on an actual computer since the last note.

Speaking of, a volunteer for next week's note would be much appreciated.
I have another 3 exams in 3 days, so I'll probably not be able to do much.

Oh.
Don't watch Gone Girl with a significant other or... a girl in general.
Movie was great, interesting story, great acting (well... ben is ben), and whatever... til this... one scene happens... then everything goes to hell and as a man who believes he'll probably get married one day, sitting next to a lady who is the best candidate for me to do that with... I could not have been more uncomfortable.
Mind farked me pretty good that night.
You've been warned.

ANYWAYS.

=============================================================

In my fantasy football career, I've never been in the sole possession of last place ever in my life.
Til now.

Even in other fantasy sports I don't think that's ever happened with exception to my inaugural "interim" manager year when I took over for Steven in the Boys of Summer for baseball.

This is a new low for me in life.

I got there by getting bent over by a stupid bear who managed 5 points from his RB slots.
Yes, Paul Min only managed 5.0 points from his RB slots and exceeded 100 points.
Even with Gore, Stacy, and Quick going on Monday... I lost by a huge margin as the aforementioned trio did nothing.

The key play here was Branden Oliver.
I had put in a waiver claim for him as well and Paul was the one who ended up landing him. He dropped 18.4 points and was the highest scorer in the matchup.

I will eat a disgusting black bird, as Foles is not what I expected.
He is at moments... and in other moments, he's awfully inaccurate and interception prone. I'd hope that he could just stay consistent but I doubt it. This is totally my year.

The one positive I got from this week was that I was dead on about Jeff's undefeated run coming to an end.
In all seriousness, that was my real opinion but for reasons that were wrong.
As I mentioned last week, I thought it was Henry's matchups and his team's ability to produce points that would fend off Jeff but it was more of a self-destruction by Jeff's RB1-WR3. 25.3 points from those slots.
Gio Bernard by himself scored 22.
Peyton was still Peyton and Julius was still Julius.
Just a bad, perfect storm for Jeff.

In other news, Andrew Luck has been perfect.
I drafted him.
I traded him for peanuts.
I am an idiot.
Chris Han gets to enjoy the #1 Fantasy QB as I cry in my corner and contemplate the meaning of life.
124.4 points. 24.6 of those are from Andrew Luck.... which is even more disgusting when you realize that Marshawn did nothing and Chris left 70.1 points on the bench.
This is the team I fear most lately... Sure T.Y. Hilton had a career day and Larry Fitzgerald actually did something for once...
but I believe Antone Smith should command more carries as he continues to be a huge playmaker and Steven Jackson continues to be a shell of his former self. That, plus, everything I do is detrimental to me and beneficial for others. Luck is great.

Walter Rhee, Chris' opponent, is going in the opposite direction.
This is his 3rd loss in a row after starting 3-0.
Insult to injury, Victor Cruz died this year.
Bench dude Marvin Jones died this year.
Rashad Jennings is still out.
Montee Ball is out and probably replaced.
Cordarrelle Patterson would like to have the ball...
It's just a mess for his team.
Sad thing is, all 3 RBs and his QB did their parts.
3.4 points from his 3 receivers. Yikes.
Hopefully the moves he made will help him out from now on.

Oh, I forgot to mention on Sunday that I got a 2 word text message saying, "Flacco really."
Given how the year has gone, 119.7 points is a winner's score.
Steven put up that score and was rewarded with a 10 point loss to the APOW, Kevin Ahn.
As I mentioned to him on facebook... He should continue to bench Tom Brady (although he played him this week and they won... barely..), bench the Michigan Wolverines, Red Wings, and me... in life.

Steven got a monster performance from Phillip Rivers (#2 QB) and Arian Foster (#3 RB). Arian is the biggest surprise to me. I had him his breakout year but after that he's always been an injury concern HOWEVER, he continues to be SOLID when healthy. He is arguably the best RB in the league given that he is third while missing almost 2 complete games. It's amazing.
C.J. Spiller on the other hand finished in the negatives and is consistently bad and sad given that he never gets crucial carries. He was in for 12 snaps the entire game last week.
Poor guy, I was a fan.

Rich guy Kevin, crushed everything with 30ish from Flacco and Forte. Nothing unordinary nor impressive besides those two but he still got a solid 70 points from the rest of his team. Great showing after a poor start to the season.
Still, it's early and he's 2 games out... but then again I'm 3 games out so... yeah.

Speaking of... the Leaders Division's.... leader.... lol... is Danny Kim.
Still... weirdly impressed.
Any of you guys still watch the League? Well, this season... Andre is actually hard to make fun of in the beginning and has very good insults and is very witty.... We later find out he has Jay Glazer telling him what to do through a very small bluetooth earpiece. The group finds out and hates on him for cheating.
...
who is on the other end of Danny's bluetooth earpiece....?
In honesty though, it's just a solid team.
Cam is having a good year, and the Jordy-Cobb duo is getting solid amounts of work. There's quality and depth in his WRs... although I still think his RBs blow.
Maybe a half tier upgrade on his RBs would have prevented some losses, but at this point, how can you complain?

Joon can't complain after losing to Danny given that his team scored 87 points...
I thought Matt Ryan's week 1 performance was what we should expect... not what Joon would WISH for him to repeat. I don't get him.... I don't get Foles.
LeSean actually did something last week... but... was traded. He probably showed up because he was traded. Rumor is... LeSean didn't appreciate it when Joon walked into the locker room and started raving about DeMarco Murray right in front of last year's best RB. Rubbed him the wrong way and made him think that he was playing favorites. At least now he can join a guy.... who's.... team name... was... about how he missed jamaal charles... meh.

Anyways 3 points from D+K is frustrating. 1.3 from Flex is terrible.
Those three position would get you about 30 a week... not 4.
Regardless, Joon ran into a team that had a hell of a week.

Eli Manning had a hell of a week.
As in, he was in hell for a week....
The Eagles released some terrible cartoon featuring a small Eli Manning being haunted by the Eagles' pass rushers before the game. It was really poorly done and embarassing to watch.... but it did something as the Eagles shut out Eli and the Giants. Eli got 6.3 points for former world champion Danny Shin as he falls to 2-4.
There was only two double digit performers on Danny's starting squad and only one on the bench. Both defensive options on his team combined for -4 for I guess the 0 the Chargers put up was... the better option. It's weird how the names on his team makes you think he'd be in near the top of the standings... yet... the opposite is true.

Sewook took the win as his WR play (including flex) supported his great QB and his terrible RBs for the easy win. Aaron Rodgers is the man. Troublesome was Bishop Sankey, as he got 18 carries against the Jacksonville Jaguars and ONLY finished with 6.8 points. :\
That's the risk with these rookies. Hopefully he gets used to that and improves from here on out. It would go a long was for Sewook as he tries to recover from QB AUTODRAFT.

Week 5

Whatever

Apathy.

I don't care this season.
I just... can't care.

Tigers are dumb and out. Here is how people feel.

and

lol

sigh.
I had a dream the Michigan Athletic Department disbanded the football program and demolished the Big House. I woke up and felt nothing.

So I'll leave that at that.

**A little housekeeping**
I mention this because this is the 2nd time it has been brought up.
I don't know when this concept suddenly became unfathomable but...
TRADES PROCESS WHEN PLAYERS ALL PLAYERS INVOLVED ARE UNLOCKED.
A player is LOCKED when he plays his damn game.

Example 1: Trade accepted Tuesday 8:01PM EST
A player involved has a game on Thursday 8:00PM EST.
TRADE PROCESSES NEXT TUESDAY.

Example 2: Trade accepted Tuesday 7:59PM EST
A player involved has a game on Thursday 8:00PM EST.
TRADE PROCESSES THURSDAY 7:59 PM EST (Good luck getting him in your lineup)

Example 3: Trade accepted Friday 12:59 PM EST
No Thursday player involved.
Trade processes Sunday 12:59 EST

....
I hope you get it by now.
If you don't... gtfo.
I get it, you want your players NAOW.
The whole, thursday game every week is screwing things and making it harder to make instant impact trades.

=============================================================

So, Jeff sucked 2 years after his championship year.
I suck this year (2 years after my championship year)
Danny will suck next year.

Danny Shin was a complete asshole last week and ran it up early on thursday with an Eddie Lacy performance worth 25 points.
I immediately conceded.

Jeffrey Kim is an asshole

Insult to injury, Tony Romo is now 12th and Nick Foles is 14th. However, Tony Romo is not 100% owned in all leagues and is continuously being dropped while Nick Foles stays steady at 100. I will for sure not win this league, but I will win the ten dollars.

Anyways, Danny then capped off his win with a 35 breakout by Demaryius Thomas.
Everyone breaks out against me.
I lead the league in Points Against.... by THIRTY.

Joon has the lowest points against total.... and is 3-2....
He got the 2nd lowest score against his last week in Chris Han and perhaps excrement excitement is turning into fecal... frustration?

That just sounds like constipation.
It fits since Chris started Denard Robinson in his RB2 slot as AD is still suspended and RunDMC and MJD were both on bye.
Silly part is, had Chris started Antonio Gates over Delanie Walker or Larry Fitzgerald, he could have boasted that he won with Denard Robinson in the RB2 slot.

That's how bad Joon's team was.
I don't know what Kevin said to Tom Brady to get him going last week but Joon needs to apply the same strategy on LeSean McCoy.
He is allergic to your team and hates you with a passion.
League leading DeMarco was pretty good, but still fumbles once a game... and AJ Green's big toe is dead. His team was rescued by his Def/K output.

Steven texted.

Yikes. Pierre Thomas 23.2.
Arian Foster 29.2.
From the bench.
Kang city, but this is exactly why I hate having too much depth.
I'd rather live and die with a set three than die knowing I could have won with a different combination.
Depth is a good problem to have, sure. I'm just an ignorance is bliss type of person.
He might have less pressure to be perfect going up against 1-4 Kevin Ahn, but... Brady is baaaaccckkk.... yet... looks to be on his bench, so nevermind.

Scumbag Henry still had to put up a decent number to beat a kanged lineup.
He got very nice production from Fred Jackson. It's always nice when you have the other piece of a RB tandem and your piece out-produces your opponent. Fred Jackson 12.7 to CJ's 3.3.
Henry did just enough to squeak out a victory and sits pretty in an up-for-grabs Leaders division.
He's 6th in points against, and so, being 3-2 at this point is a good sign.
I think.

Kevin. Please keep Brady on your bench.
He does well when you don't depend on him because you are a sparty... allegedly rich a-hole who only took him to cause me pain.
YAY!
Your team was pretty awful last week though.
Take out 21 from Forte and 18 from the D+K and you had 40 points from everyone else.
ew.
Lucky for you, Alfred Morris looks like he's doing one of those.... good game/bad game patterns and next week is supposed to be good!
... against a pretty solid Arizona D.
Meh.

Nothing mattered since Jeffrey Kim is still undefeated.
ugh.
Peyton and Julius is really annoying.
Andre Ellington was annoyingly good as well and Jeff still got the win with a donut from his new love, Larry Donnell.
I don't know man...
A world where Michigan Football is irrelevant AND Tigers suck AND Jeff Kim is undefeated in fantasy football.... is a world I don't want to live in.
This year sucks.

Speaking of sucks.
Have you met Paul Min?
hahaha just kidding. I'm 1-4.
But seriously.... 73.7 points with 6 points of WR production.
Calvin did leave the game hurt... but damn. Steven Ridley was the 2nd highest scorer for him this week.
THAT'S how bad his week was.
It's okay, you get me this week. Free Wins!

Sewook got a nice win despite the Sankey project still being on hold. Just give the kid his carries already...
I think being 2-3 after all the injuries on his team and going autodraft with a billion QBs was the best case scenario. Just wait til your healthy again and start kicking some bootay. Aaron Rodgers should continue to be better as the season goes on. I like Kelce too.

bwaahahaha
Danny Kim got 40 points from his KD combo.
Stephen Gostkowski got TWENTY-ONE POINTS.
Walter had Jay Cutler get 21.8.
Unlike walter, Danny had 4 other players get around 15 points while no one minus Ben Tate did anything noteworthy.
Montee Ball is now useless (again... why was he so hyped?) and CORDARRELLE continues to be ignored despite being the best athlete and big-play guy in the entire NFC North. Confusing.

It's weird though.
Still weird seeing Danny and Walter having success.

This year is weird man.

=============================================================

Matchup of the week!

Henry v Jeff

I pick this not cause of my hope that Jeff finally loses, but because I actually think he has a chance to given certain situations.

A. Henry is starting Kirk Cousins. The QB of Jeffrey's tenure at MSU.
B. Henry has players with excellent matchups (minus Dez, but Dez is Dez so...)
C. I want Jeff to lose.

so now you know your ABC's so come and root for Kook with me!
=============================================================

Still apathetic and passionless.
Sorry.
